TRANSFER OF CLONED HUMAN GENE APOA1 INTO ADULT AND OLD RABBITS
Summary
Recombinant DNA containing Alu-repeat and cloned human ApoAl gene has been constructed. Genetic material included into a lyposome and injected into adult and old rabbits has resulted in the appearance of human gene ApoAl protein product in the rabbit blood. This product was identified by agarose gel immunoelectrophoresis with specific antiserum. Essential rearrangement of cholesterol content and different classes of lypoprolcins has been observed in the rabbit blood.
