RecE-Independent Instability in Bacillus subtilis

Summary

    The mutant of Bac. subtilis has stable requirement for tryptophan but is highly unstable in its requirement for alanine combined with frequently forward auxotrophic mutations. The introduction of recE marker by transformation has no effect on properties of the mutant under study.
