Vibrational Transition Resonance Response to Millimeter Radiation Action in Amino Acid Crystals

 

Summary

 

    In this paper a method is described allowing to demonstrate narrow reso¬nances of the interaction between electromagnetic radiation and aminoacids in mm-ran-,ge. The method is based upon the discovered by us sensitivity of a-glycine and p-alani-ne vibrational transitions to the affect of mm radiation within the range of 37,5— 53,5 GHz. A comparison of responses to mm-range radiation of aminoacid monocrystal spectra possessing the absorption spectrum registered by industrial EHF devices has •been carried out.
