Bacteriophage T4 Structure and Biological Function Changes Under Influence of Constant Magnetic Field

Summary

    Constant magnetic field influence with induction from 0,2 to 2,0 Tl on in¬fection titre and structure of bacteriophage T4 Escherichia coli B was investigated. Vi¬ral titre reduction under constant magnetic field action was found which could be ex¬plained by its structural destruction: swelling and destruction of bacteriophage heads, tail contraction, disjoinment and destruction.
