Effect of the Electrons on the K+ Transport in Erythrocytes

Summary

    The effect of electrons with energy 5 MeV on the erythrocyte mem¬brane permeability for K+ has been investigated. The radiation-induced enhancement of the K+ output was shown to dependent on the incubation temperature of the cell suspension.
