Peculiarity of influence of melitlin and it's triptolytic fragment on activation of protein kinase C

The inhibition of protein kinase C activity in TPA stimulated Jurkat cells (human T-lymphoblast leukemia) was detected while additionofS • 10~"—5 • W1 Mofmelittin. The method oftrypsinolysis was used to obtain ofmelittin fragment M7 _ 19 that was also used as inhibitors of activated protein kinase C in T-lymphocytes. Fragment A/7_i9 inhibited PKC at the same level as native melittin. At the same time M1_\<) fragment caused the less level of erythrocytes lysis, so it may be used as more effective inhibitor of PKC
