The reaction activity of phosphates of tRNA^ from T. thermo¬philus complexed with it a cognate aminoacyi-tRNA syntlmtase has been defined. Seryl-tRNA synthelase protects phosphates of ac¬ceptor, variable, T-stems and T-loop from alkylation by ethyl-nitrosourea.
