The structural and functional dependence of the cotton extensin-like proteins (ELPs) has been investigated. ELPs inhibit the cell proliferation, their action depending on the glycoproteins dose and the cell cycle phase. The antiproliferative activity of deglycosylated ELPs towards the KML cell line is higher than that of the extensin-like proteins. The KML cell culture and molecular model¬ling methods have been used in this work.
