A role of the aleutian gene in Mustela vison onthogenesis. Darvin selection for ppaa progeny as a result of ppAa and ppaa blastocysts competition for places of implantation in ppAa mink females

Yu. V. Vagyn

Statistically significant differences in the dates of implantation for blastocysts between the sapphirine (ppaa) and silver-blue mink females (Mustela vison), heterozygous by the aleutian (ppAa) gene, have been shown. A model for rival interrelations between the ppaa and ppAa blastocysts for places of implantation has been proposed.
