Possible mechanism of stabilization of one out of two poly(A) double helical forms

Hypothesis on contribution of vertical hydrogen bonds …N6H…N6H…, which are formed by hydrogen atoms and nitrogen atoms of aminogroups of the neighboring bases, to stabilization of one of two forms of double stranded poly(A) is proposed and substantiated. Literature proofs in favor of it are given.
