Abstract

This study presents results on gene Cyp2e1 expression peculiarities in mouse liver cells under continued exposure to low-dose radiation. The gene Cyp2e1 expression and cytochrome P450 relative content were shown to decrease under this exposure. Furthermore, the gene Cyp2e1 expression level was found to depend on the gender and age of animals. The differential expression levels of hepatic gene Cyp2e1 in the mature mice, suggest that regulation occurs at a transcriptional or posttranslational level
