Чи є адекватним іонізаційний механізм спонтанних транзицій? Квантово-хімічне дослідження

Abstract

Мета. Використовуючи найпростіші молекулярні моделі – пари основ ДНК, одна з яких є іонізованою, та електронейтральні й іонізовані ДНК-подібні конформери канонічних нуклеозидів, теоретично дослідити адекватність іонізаційного механізму виникнення спонтанних транзицій. Методи. Неемпірична квантова хімія, фізико-хімічна кінетика, аналіз топології електронної густини за Бейдером. Результати. Показано, що на рівні пар основ іонізаційний механізм виникнення транзицій не гарантує жодних переваг у порівнянні з іншими механізмами, представленими в літературі. Проте протонування/депротонування основ у складі будь-якого канонічного нуклеозиду суттєво збурює ДНК-подібні конформації останнього. Висновки. Іонізаційний механізм не може претендувати на вичерпне пояснення природи спонтанних транзицій.
