Гіпометилування ДНК пагонів соняшнику

Abstract

Досліджували метилування ДНК у коренях і пагонах етіольованих проростків соняшнику (Helianthus annuus L.). Використовуючи метил-чутливі ферменти рестрикції показано, що CpCpGpG-, CpCpA/TpGpG- і GpApApTpTpC-сайти ДНК під­ даються диференційному метилуванню. Зокрема, ці мотиви ДНК інтенсивно гіпометильовані в пагонах, де на відміну від коренів експресується приблизно в 4 рази більше різних генів. Органогенез у культурі калюсу апікальних меристем пагону соняшника також супроводжується зниженням рівня ензима­тичної модифікації цитозину в CpCpGpG- і CpCpAlTpGpG- послідовностях ДНК Обговорюється роль варіабельності ен­зиматичного метилування ДНК у ході росту і диферен­ ціювання соняшнику.
