Abstract

Проаналізовано дані літератури стосовно класифікації, ме­тодів виділення, фізико-хімічних властивостей, локалізації у нейронних структурах, динаміки в онтогенезі, механізмів дії і функціональної ролі у нервовій системі, нейротрофічних особливостей, причетності до патогенезу низки захворювань Са2+-зв'язувальних білків групи S-100. Обговорено участь S-100 у клітинних та загальних міжсистемних механізмах життєзабезпечення і пристосувальної активності організму тварин і людини.
