Abstract

Фактор ініціації 3 (ІF-3) Е. соli є субстратом для лейцил (фенілаланіл)-тРНК-протеїнтрансферази. З двох поліпептидних ланцюгів ІF-3 лише короткий ланцюг (β або s) може модифікуватися за рахунок приєднання лейцину, фенілаланіну або метіоніну до N-кінцевого амінокислотного залишку ланцюга.
