Abstract

В огляді наведено дані про внутрішньоклітинну локалізацію каталаз з різних джерел, про наявність ізоферментних форм, обговорюються біологічна доцільність та можливі причини їх утворення. Викладено результати досліджень особливостей біогенезу та транспорту ферменту, а також розглянуто фактори, які впливають на рівень активлості каталази у клітині. Узагальнено багаточисельні дані про фізико-хімічні та каталітичні властивості ферменту, а також про внутрішньоклітинні процеси з участю каталази. Наведено приклади атипових каталаз, які за своїми властивостями посідають проміжне місце між катализами та пероксидазами, а також показані можливості застосування каталази у медицині і харчовій промисловості.
